    Dr. Wang received his BSc in Electro-Mechanical Engineering (SIT, China), MASc in Mechanical Engineering (Northeastern University, China), MEng in Industrial Engineering (University of Toronto), and PhD in Mechatronics Engineering (University of Waterloo). He was employed as a senior scientist at Mechworks Systems Inc. from 2002 to 2004, and then joined the faculty of Lakehead University in 2004. Now he is a professor in the Dept. of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, cross-appointed by Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Waterloo.

Research Labs: LIMS and LEV

Supported by two CFI/ORF grants, Dr. Wang has established two new research labs: LIMS: Lab for Intelligent Mechatronic Systems and LEV: Lab for Electric Vehicles.
